Minutes Matter

Add a creative touch to pleated drapery panels by simply adding a complementary fabric as a large border. Adding a large fabric border gives a totally different feel to the room.

Client wanted a very small stack, therefore, a 2:1 fullness was used. Finished stack was 12".
Pleats, side and bottom hems were all hand sewn.
Draperies were lined and interlined. Two layers of interlining were used.
Bottom border fabric was a stripe that was railroaded. Finished size of border was 32".
Ceiling height was 9'. Finished length was 99" and finished width was 90".
Face fabric was Silk Taffeta color: Copper from Dann Imports (www.dannimports.com). Border fabric was Lynnhaven, color Cappuccino from Castec (www.castec.com).
Decorative iron hardware in finish Bronze was from Iron Art (https://www.ironartbyorion.com/ironart/). Custom batons were also fabricated by Iron Art.
