Below are links to some of my favorite websites regarding digital photography.
IrfanView A graphic viewer which is capable of numerous photo editing functions i.e., cropping, resizing, rotating and much more and it's free!
Picasa Picasa is Free software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.
PhotoImpression Adds not only photo editing capabilities but also includes many creative features such as adding borders or balloons with text to photographs. Reasonably priced.
Photo Story 3 - If you would like to add a creative touch to your photographs, this is a great program and it's Free! This is a simple and fun program which creates a slide show that you can email to anyone or burn a CD and give as a very special gift. Why not use this as a marketing tool for your business; create a slide show on CD as a thank-you gift for your client?
Below is a sample of a slide show that I created for a client. I created two text pages and then converted them to jpeg/gif format so I could include them on the CD. (Be patient, downloading the video clip takes a few minutes.) Once you find a music file you like for your clients, just use it over and over.
