Add Shading and Highlights to Walls!
The screenshot above illustrates a wall with the gradient technique applied. Adding shadowing or highlights to a wall can be done with a few clicks. After you have filled the wall with color follow the simple steps below:

Right click on the wall.

Select Properties.

Select Fill.

Select the Gradient Tab.

Click the second box, to have highlights at the top of the wall. (see screen shot below)

Click on the down arrow for the End section. (see screen shot below)

Click More Colors > use the eye dropper and touch the colored wall > click Custom > slide the vertical bar on the right two - four notches up to get a lighter shade of the original wall color.
